Dr. Preston graduated from Baylor University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Medical Humanities. She then earned her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston in 2009. Following her graduation, she completed her internship in Medicine and Pediatrics at The University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston. She then went on to complete her Neurology Residency and Fellowship in Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular medicine in June 2014.

Dr. Preston has dedicated her career to providing compassionate care to patients suffering from neurological disorders. She has worked with Patient-Centered Neurology in the Memorial City area of Houston, where she evaluated and treated patients for strokes, seizures, Parkinson's disease, tremors, headaches, peripheral neuropathy, and many other neurological disorders. Her dedication and expertise have earned her numerous accolades, including the title of Top Doctors and being one of the Favorite Residents Teachers.
